The Overvaal Guestfarm with its lovely guest house is situated 27km from Ermelo on the Piet-Retief road.

The Overvaal Guesthouse accommodation consists out of a large children friendly house, offering four separate en-suite rooms (sleeps 8), a large living area with a lounge, fireplace, bar, and indoor braai/barbeque facilities, plus a fully equipped kitchen including a microwave.

A cleaning lady is at your service in the mornings and afternoons.

Activities at the Farm:

• Hunting: Bird hunting (May - August) and Bles-buck hunting can be done on request (please refer to it under special notes on the booking form).
• Hiking Trails: Bird watching trails (including bloukransvoėls) and Bush trails.
• Fishing: A large dam with black bass is only 4 km from the house. Fishing in the Vaal River is also legal (only 4 km away).
• Quad Bikes: The farm and the surrounding areas have various quad bike trails (supply your own bikes).
• Horse Riding: Tamed horses are available.
• Canoeing: Can be done on the large dam, tubes can also be used and the Vaal River is ideal for river rafting.
• Picnic: We have the most beautiful picnic spots to enjoy. Varkspruit, leading to the Vaal River, surrounded by willow trees and large rocks provides the ideal environment to enjoy nature at its fullest.
• Farm Drives: We welcome guests at the Kleilatgooi Farm to watch how we feed the animals while on a peaceful afternoon drive through the bush or on the banks of the Vaal River.
